The Great Outdoors

Leads on, tails wagging—we’re off! Yorkshire is a dog’s paradise, with miles of open countryside, rivers to splash in, and hills to climb. We head to a woodland trail, where I follow fresh scents, chase leaves, and greet fellow four-legged explorers.

If I’m lucky, there’s a dog-friendly café at the end where I might get a biscuit while my humans enjoy a Yorkshire brew.

Bedale Adventures

After a well-earned snooze in the car, it’s time for another adventure! Maybe it’s a beautiful walk through the grounds of Thorp Perrow Abortorium or a stroll through the historic market town of Bedale, where friendly shopkeepers give me a pat on the head. If we visit a country pub, I know there’s always a cosy spot by the fire just for me.

In Bedale we recommend popping into The Green Tree Inn for a post walk pint with your pup.

Tired Paws & Cosy Evenings

Back at our Yorkshire holiday cottage, it’s time to curl up and relax on the spacious patio while the humans fire up the ceramic egg BBQ. Later, as the sun sets, the bubbling hot tub tempts the humans while the dog enjoys more garden zoomies in the enclosed garden. Another perfect day at Ellesmere Barn, where every moment is a treat!
