Facing West, Coco allows you to soak in the evening sunshine whilst dining alfresco with your loved ones. A Scandinavian designed lodge, the interiors are bright and luxurious whilst the bedrooms are large and light. Being dog-friendly, Coco ensures that no one has to be left out on the tranquillity of Brompton Lakes. Venture to the beautiful market town of Richmond, just a 10 minute drive from your doorstep or visit somewhere a little bit further afield.
Coco is situated on the East lake at Brompton Lakes, sleeping up to six guests. This luxury lodge is West facing so is popular those who like the evening sunshine and a sundowner. This beautiful lakeside cabin has an open plan living area with full-height glass sliding doors that lead to the large private decking area. This is the perfect outdoor space for al fresco dining, with a charcoal BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating area to relax and watch the surrounding wildlife.
There is a modern kitchen, well equipped with everything you should need and more in self-catering accommodation. The open plan style makes it perfect for families wanting a spacious luxury lodge holiday home in Yorkshire. There's a cosy log burning stove which can swivel towards the grand dining area or the comfy stylish sofas. There’s also space for your furry friends in this dog-friendly log cabin.
The master bedroom has a super-king bed and luxury en-suite facilities with a separate bath and shower. The further two bedrooms are large and light, and share a house bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower.
During your stay make sure to tear yourself way from your lakeside lodge to take a stroll around Brompton Lakes. There are 26 across to enjoy and the River Swale winds around the site making the walks really lovely. You can also play boules, make use of complimentary bikes or enjoy a game of tennis. There are lots of great walking routes and family activities nearby too, making it the perfect location to escape to.
Each lodge at Brompton Lakes has been individually designed by interior designer Rosie Mennem. Coco is a beautiful lakeside lodge full of exquisite upcycled furniture from an array of eras, perfectly selected to compliment the space. We love the striking colours and fabrics of the living area, where dark fabrics contrast with the rich wall colour. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated to create areas of calm, perfect for relaxing into a deep sleep after a busy day exploring.
There is free wi-fi in this log cabin. The modern kitchen is well equipped for that home from home experience, including a fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washing facilities in the separate utility room. There is a Smart TV, DVD player and Bluetooth sound system. The parking is a short walk down steps from the path that runs above the lodge. Each luxury lodge includes high-quality bed linen, towels, and toiletries. We include a starter pack for the kitchen, fire and washroom to get you going on arrival, and of course, a locally sourced seasonal welcome hamper.
Private parking is available for two cars. Sixteen electric vehicle points are also available at two of the car parks on site. Price not included in booking, please speak with reception for more details.

Brompton Lakes is nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which has many walks, cycling routes and stunning attractions. The closest town is Richmond, plus there’s a handy village shop less than a mile away. Richmond is well-regarded for the historical castle, the Georgian Theatre, and stunning scenery on the walks that wind along the River Swale.
Walk from your lakeside lodge through the beautiful great North Yorkshire countryside to the cobbled market square of Richmond where you will find a great mix of dog friendly pubs, amazing eateries and quirky independent shops.Make sure to grab a bite to eat at The Little Drummer Boy Tearooms which is a firm favourite of ours.
