A majestic king-sized bed boasts supreme comfort. Adjoining is a large contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower. Open the large glass patio doors from your bedroom and enjoy your morning coffee outside wrapped in the fluffy towelling robes provided, or spend a lazy morning in bed admiring the awakening of nature.

A stunning feature at Spindrifter lodge is the large attractive garden offering plenty of privacy. Open the double doors, let in the fresh Yorkshire air and admire the beauty of mother nature and the abundance of wildlife that passes through the pond. Nestled on the hill, with a glass of something special in hand, appreciate the scenic vista with views towards the Yorkshire Dales and Penn Hill from the luxury of your private hot tub.

A gas barbecue sits on the covered patio, and here you can eat al fresco, sunbathe in peace, or gaze at the stars with the fire pit lit on a cooler evening.

This beautiful lodge is situated within the grounds of Sun Hill Lodges near Leyburn, North Yorkshire. This provides an opportunity for the dedicated team at Sun Hill to enhance your stay.

The properties at Sun Hill Farm are located on the grounds of racehorse trainer Ann Duffield and her husband, legendary jockey George Duffield MBE. Stable tours can be arranged on request. The beauty of this woodland lodge is the gallops that run alongside it, which are used actively to train racehorses. The lodge is set away from the stables though so there’s privacy in the grounds of your self-catering hideaway.

There is free wi-fi throughout the holiday home. On arrival, you will find a locally sourced welcome hamper. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering accommodation, with an oven, microwave, hob and microwave. The barbecue outside is gas. A starter pack for the log burner includes logs and firelighters, and more can be purchased during your stay.

The stay includes high-quality bed linen, towels, bathrobes and a small selection of toiletries. Families can request a travel cot and a high chair for an infant in advance. Please note there is no washing machine or dryer.

Up to two dogs are welcome in this luxury lodge in Yorkshire; it is not well suited to more than one large dog. Please note that the garden within this property is not regarded as enclosed although it is fenced. Please keep an eye on those excitable pooches in particular as it is not escape proof.
