Woodcroft Cottage is a carefully considered, two-bedroom luxury holiday cottage with a hot tub in the pretty village of Hudswell, near Richmond, North Yorkshire. Refurbished to an extremely high standard, everything from the furnishings to the high-quality kitchens and bathrooms is designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and crockery, and centres around the dining table. From here, enjoy a meal looking out onto the garden, or open the large bi-fold glass doors to bring the outdoors in. There's a sofa in the kitchen, so you can chat whilst making a meal. Or turn on the Bluetooth speaker or kitchen TV if you're the first one up and making breakfast. Beyond the kitchen is a ground floor cloakroom.

Settle down in front of the log-burning fire with a great book in the sitting room after a long country walk, there are many surrounding Hudswell. There is a large TV for cosy evenings in and two large comfy sofas. The cottage even features an Xbox with games, to keep the kids (and big kids) entertained for hours.

Upstairs are two beautifully decorated bedrooms which are both en-suite and with baths. The master bedroom has a comfy king-sized bed, plenty of storage, a TV for lazy mornings in bed, and high ceilings. A bathroom sits at the top of the glass-fronted staircase within the bedroom, a great feature of this luxury cottage. This en-suite features a freestanding bath with fantastic views beyond the village, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long country walk. There is a separate walk-in shower.

The second bedroom looks over the garden and has a super king-size bed, which can be made as a double bed or a twin for children or friends. There is also plenty of storage and a TV. The en-suite bathroom is large, with a bath and overhead shower.

A favourite feature at Woodcroft are the large bi-fold doors that open from the kitchen onto the garden patio - fantastic in the summer! The cottage's hot tub is jacuzzi style, with plenty of space for four guests. There are outdoor sofas and a charcoal BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. You can enter the garden through the side gate, ideal for washing off muddy boots and paws after long country walks near to this dog friendly cottage.

Opposite the garden is the off-street private parking for two cars. There is separate bike storage on request for guests enjoying the fantastic routes nearby.

This family-friendly cottage is ideal for those looking for a luxury cottage break that is self-catering. Arrive to a locally sourced welcome hamper and the essentials you need in the kitchen. The cottage includes high-quality bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and luxury miniature toiletries. There's a starter pack for the fire, under the kitchen sink and integrated washing machine.

There are plenty of walks from your doorstep. And of course, the icing on the cake is the outdoor hot tub included with this Yorkshire holiday cottage.

There is a private parking space at the side of Woodcroft Cottage. The entrance into the house is flat from the pavement. In the rear garden is a hot tub, plus a BBQ and outdoor seating area. One step up leads into the kitchen or cloakroom.

The stairs to the first floor have quite deep steps, with a handrail on the wall. There is a stairgate fitted at the bottom of the staircase for the conveneince of families and pets.

There are two en-suite bedrooms upstairs with bathrooms. The master bedroom has a private bathroom which can be accessed by a set of stairs. This includes a free-standing large bath and separate shower cubicle. The second bedroom can be made a double or twin room. It also has en-suite facilities with bath and shower over head.

In The Area

Just a short walk along from Woodcroft Cottage in Hudswell is The George & Dragon, a CAMRA multi-award-winning National Pub of the Year. With good beer and good value well-reviewed pub grub, it is great to have nearby. It was notably also the first community-owned pub in Yorkshire. The pretty village of Hudswell sits on the opposite bank of the River Swale to Alfred Wainwright’s 192-mile Coast-to-Coast walk, one of the most popular long walks in the country.

The historic market town of Richmond, North Yorkshire is only 2 miles away, a short drive or a 40-minute scenic walk. There are many restaurants and cafés, shops and tourist sites to discover around the cobbled market square. The Little Drummer Boy cafe is a cosy spot for lunch or afternoon tea, or Wilfred's Deli opposite sells delicious cheeses and local produce. There is a Saturday weekly market, with plenty more on offer
