4. Black Swan in Oldstead –

Set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, 20 miles North of York, this award-winning gastro pub has recently been named the ‘Travellers Choice Best Fine Dining Restaurant in the World 2017’ by Trip Advisor. The main focus is more than just serving Michelin Star food but to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere within a traditional Yorkshire setting, brushing aside much of the formality normally associated with fine dining. It offers good food, good service and a good time.

Talented chef Tommy Banks along with his brother James, running front of house have created a celebration of all things Yorkshire with plenty of tradition and culture with a mix of modern creativity with fresh produce straight from their garden.

‘Farming, foraging and growing our own gives us incredibly fresh produce and exciting rare ingredients.’ Tommy Banks, Head Chef.
