Twenty of the Brompton Lakes lodges have three bedrooms, ideal for a family get-together, celebration, or a weekend break with friends. Each luxury lodge feels private due to their layout, and the terrace has seating and can be enclosed. Inside it is open plan living with a log burner. Lodge Twenty One is perfect for a group get-together for twelve, with a Scandinavian hot tub and BBQ house, large entertaining space, and six uniquely designed bedrooms.

Brompton Lakes is set on 26 acres, with the luxury lodges nestled around two lakes. Surrounded by beautiful woodland and the River Swale, it sits just two miles outside Richmond Yorkshire. Its main beauty is that you can set your own pace, making it an ideal natural retreat for groups of all ages.
During your stay, make sure to take a stroll around the site. Play boules in the games area, make use of our complimentary bikes or challenge the team to a game of tennis. For a more serene stay, relax on your own private decking to appreciate the idyllic lakeside location and wonderful wildlife.

The luxury lodges in Yorkshire are based at Brompton Lakes and on the doorstep to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with many walks, cycling routes, and stunning attractions close by. The bustling market town of Richmond Yorkshire is only a 2 mile drive, complete with a medieval castle, Georgian theatre, and riverside walks. The town’s large cobbled marketplace offers traditional tea shops, pubs, and a choice of restaurants and shops. Browse the weekly Saturday market, which provides ample chance to enjoy some local produce and crafts.
We recommend a walk to the nearby Easby Abbey. When looking to keep the family entertained on a day out, there are activities such as The Forbidden Corner, theme parks like Lightwater Valley, beautiful walks through Fountains Abbey and Newby Hall, or in winter the Polar Express is fantastic. The older ‘kids’ do enjoy local breweries Theakston and Black Sheep in Masham, seeing the racehorses in Middleham, and spa days at Swinton Park or Rockliffe Hall.
Fishing: You are welcome to fish at Brompton Lakes at no cost, however, the lakes have been subject to a number of issues including the influx of pondweed and the arrival of predators such as cormorants and otters. With the stock levels of the lakes continuously reducing we have ceased fishing at Brompton Lakes.

Isabella is an east-facing luxury lodge with an impressive view of both lakes, overlooking a small island and close to the River Swale. The open-plan living area features a log burner and opens onto private enclosed decking with al fresco dining, making it one of the most popular pet-friendly lodges at Brompton Lakes. Enjoy the easy walk into Richmond, Isabella is a great base for exploring the area.
With arguably some of the best views at Brompton Lakes, Jasper is a perennially popular lodge. Its large private lakefront decking is south-facing on the west lake and the open plan living has huge wraparound windows. The lodge features a log burner and contemporary interiors, as well as step-free access and a prime location for relaxing and watching the surrounding wildlife.
Capture the evening sunlight from the large west-facing enclosed deck at Rebecca. There is an impressive view over the lakes and a small island where the wildlife likes to gather. In this luxury lodge, the open plan living area features a log burner and floor-to-ceiling windows which lead to the deck for al fresco dining. Slightly set back from the lakefront at Brompton Lakes, Jules is a stunning hot tub lodge with a gorgeous open-plan living area. In winter fire up the log burner, or in summer sit on the patio and dine al fresco enjoying the nature all around. Year-round the full-height glass sliding doors offer gorgeous views and plenty of natural light into this luxury lodge in North Yorkshire.
Iris is a West facing luxury lodge with an impressive lake view, overlooking a small island and is close to the River Swale. It has a fully equipped kitchen and utility room.
